Lloyd O. Robertson

Funeral Services for Lloyd O. Robertson, 83, of Bunnell, will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Bunnell, 205 N. Pine St. with Pastor Beth Gardner, officiating. Burial will follow in Espanola Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.

Mr. Robertson, a lifelong resident of Flagler County passed away on Saturday March 14, 2009. He was born in Bunnell on December 27, 1925 a son of the late Oscar and Sarah Berta Mercer Robertson.

A retired farmer, Mr. Robertson, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bunnell and was a former member of the board of the Soil and Water Conservation Board. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Edyth; three daughters, Rebecca (Michael) Pendergast of Orlando FL, Tamara (Mike) Duclose of Jacksonville, FL, Melissa (Morris) Tesh of Bunnell; two sons, Stanford Lloyd (Lorraine) Robertson of Ormond Beach, Kirk Kevin (Sheila) Robertson of Putnam County; two sisters, Grace Smedley of Tallahassee FL, and Evelyn Smedley of Jones AL; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
