George Salyerds, 88-year-old resident of the St. Johns Park section of Flagler county, died at his home Saturday night at 7:30.

Mr. Salyerds was a native of Ontario, Canada, but lived in Akron, Ohio, from young manhood until he came to Flagler county 35 years ago.

He would have been married for 66 years on the 23rd day of this month.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Josephine Salyerds; five sons, George J. of Lancaster, Texas; John, of Akron, Ohio; Jacob, of Charleston, S. C.; Edward C., of Pensacola, Florida, and Henry, of St. Johns Park; two daughters, Mrs. Mary E Baker of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. J. C. Buckles of San Mateo, Florida. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the graveside in Espanola Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock with Rev. T. R. Webb officiating. Funeral arrangement was in charge of McCabe Funeral Home of St. Augustine.

Pallbearers were Dale Brown, J. E. Pellicer, Hoke Cobb, Bert Hamilton, Joe Harding, F. L. Malphurs.
