Graveside funeral service for Mr. John D. Sanders, 72, former Flagler Beach bridge tender, who passed away Tuesday morning at a Jacksonville hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Espanola Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until 10:45 Saturday.
Mr. Sanders was born in Astor Park, Fla. and moved to Flagler Beach 20 years ago from DeLand. He had lived in Jacksonville for the past 3 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Lucille Fugal and one son, Raymond, both of Jacksonville; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Masters, St. Augustine and one brother, Lester, Riverdale.
Craig Funeral Homes, Bunnell, is in charge of arrangements.

John D. Sanders, 72, Jacksonville, a former Flagler Beach bridge tender, died Thursday (Oct. 10, 1974) at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Sanders was born in Astor Park, and moved to Flagler Beach 23 years ago from DeLand. He had lived in Jacksonville for the past three years.
He is a veteran of World War I with service in the Coast Guard.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Fugal and one son, Raymond, both of Jacksonville; Also one sister, Mrs. Pearl Masters, St. Augustine, and one brother, Lester, of Riverdale.
Graveside services were Saturday, morning at Espanola Cemetery.
