Frank Leonard Skierski, proprietor of Frank's Barbershop of Bunnell, passed away Monday morning at the Ormond Beach Hospital after a short illness. He was 58 years of age. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, and came here from Jacksonville about two years ago. He also had resided in Korona several years ago.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Alma Skierski, Bunnell; three daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Baker of Ormond Beach; Mrs. Elaine Rogers of Jacksonville; Mrs. Wanda Sue Polson of Shawnee Mission, Kansas; four sons, Frank L. Skierski, Jr., Opa Locka, Florida; Donald Skierski of Savannah, Ga.; Marcus Skierski of Dallas, Texas, and Leonard Skierski of the U. S. Marine Corps, stationed in El Toro, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Kowalski of Detroit, land Mrs. Helen Mazur of Daytona Beach; two half-sisters, Mrs. Stella Sterthouse and Mrs. Rita Phelps, both of Daytona Beach; a brother, Bennie Skierski, Daytona Beach; two half-brothers, Casey Ociepka of Port Orange, and Tony Ociepka of Detroit, Mich. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell. Rev. Thomas Pinner, pastor of the church, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Espanola Cemetery.
The body will rest at the chapel of Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell until 1 o'clock this afternoon and at the church from 2 o'clock until the funeral hour.
