Mrs. Bertie Story, 24-year-old wife of Mordie Story, died last Saturday of pneumonia in Flagler hospital in St. Augustine. Mrs. Story had been ill for several days, suffering from mastoid infection and for which an operation was performed in Daytona Beach a few days before she was carried to the St. Augustine hospital.

Mrs. Story was a native of Baxley, Georgia, but had been a resident of Bunnell for five years.

She is survived by her husband, Mordie Story, two children, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Cauley, three sisters, Mrs. C. B. King, Mrs. May Hutcheson, and Miss Dorothy Cauley; two brothers, J. W. and Franklin Cauley, all of this place.

Funeral services were held from the First Baptist Church Monday afternoon with Rev. J. S. Taylor, pastor of the church, in charge, with Rev. C. M. Samford, pastor of the Methodist Church assisted in the service.

The body was laid to rest in the Espanola Cemetery.
