SERVICE THURSDAY FOR DAVID TANNER 

Services for David E. Tanner, 55, who died Jan. 5 at a local nursing home, will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Baggett-McIntosh Chapel with Rev. Lee Nichols, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. 

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Tanner; one son, Lonnie Joe, St. Augustine; two daughters, Mrs. Floris Brumback, Miami, and Mrs. Montine Emery, Miami; three brothers, four sisters and four grandchildren. 

Burial will be in the Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, Fla.

D. E. Tanner, former resident of Espanola, died Monday in a nursing home in Daytona Beach. He had resided there since July 1946.

While residing in Espanola he was employed by the Florida Coast Railroad, but had retired prior to his death.

He was a native of Hall county, Georgia, but had lived in Florida for many years.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Baggett-McIntosh Funeral Home in Daytona Beach with burial services at Espanola Cemetery at 3 o’clock with Rev. H. B. Murdock, pastor of the local Methodist Church, officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Tanner of Daytona Beach; one son, Lonnie Joe of St. Augustine, and one daughter, Mrs. Floris Brumbach of Miami.

Pallbearers were: E. A. Hunter, D. H. Emery, F. J. Chambers, H. H. Murray, D. D. Moody and H. Peavy.
