Funeral services for W. A. Tidwell, 41, who died in a St. Augustine hospital early Monday morning, were held at the grave in Espanola Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock with Rev. Howard Kramer, pastor of the Baptist church of Flagler beach, officiating.
Mr. Tidwell was a native of Ludowici, Georgia, moving to Flagler Beach where he has resided for the past 11 years.
Mr. Tidwell suffered an injury from a fall several weeks ago which led to complications of malarial fever and finally pneumonia. He was confined to his bed several days before being removed to the hospital Sunday morning.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Belle Tidwell; three daughters, Karleen, Mariel and Barbara; four sons, Billy, Pat, Jack, and Harry B. of Flagler Beach. Also his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Tidwell of Kings Road; a sister, Mrs. Kathy LeGrande, Daytona Beach; one brother, T. C. Tidwell of Cordele, Georgia, one half-sister, Mrs. Maggie Eatman and two half-brothers, Harry and Johnny of Bunnell.
