		    According to a telegram received yesterday afternoon by J.  A. Henderson, Mrs. Claude G. Varn, formerly of this place, but who recently  moved to Butte, Mont., died about noon yesterday, death being attributed to  complication arising during childbirth.
		    Mr. Henderson, who is a brother-in-law of Mrs. Varn, said  this morning that the body of Mrs. Varn will be brought to Daytona Beach far  burial, the journey from Butte will start about noon today, and arrival of the  body is expected Monday afternoon or Monday night.
		    From an exchange of telegrams between Mr. Henderson and Mr.  Varn it was learned that Mrs. Varn's death was very sudden, and that the newly  born baby girl is living and healthy. Four other children, all of tender age,  survive their mother.
		    Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Vam lived here for a long period of  years, where Mr. Varn was prominent in banking and law circles. About two years  ago the family moved to Daytona Beach where Mr. Varn opened an additional law  office, residing there until about three months ago when the family removed to  Butte.
		    The family has many friends in all walks of life all over  Florida and the sudden death of the wife and mother will be received with deep  sorrow by those friends.

		    DEATH CLAIMS MRS. C. G. VARN
		    Word has been received here of  the death at Butte, Montana,  of Mrs. Claude G. Varn, until last April, a resident of Daytona Beach. Mrs. Varn has many  acquaintances in DeLand.
		    Mrs. Varn leaves her husband, 5  children, one of whom is a new-born baby, her parents, two sisters, Mrs.  Forrest M. Bullock of DeLand and Mrs. James A. Henderson of Bunnell and a  brother, Mr. Alden K. Boor of Chicago.
		    The body will be brought to Daytona Beach for burial.

		    Services will be held at Butte, Montana, August 10th  and the body brought to Daytona Beach  late in the fall for interment there.
		    Mr. and Mrs. Bullock of this city  are on their way to Montana  expecting to reach there in time for the funeral.
		    Mrs. Bullock, a sister of the  deceased, will help in the care of the 5 surviving children, on of them an  infant, and their return to home here will be indefinite.
