J. W. Vinson, 67, died in the East Coast Hospital in St. Augustine at 4:30 Wednesday morning. He suffered a heart attack at his home at Favoretta early that morning and was moved to the hospital where he died shortly after being admitted.

Mr. Vinson was a native of Columbia, Ala., moving to Jacksonville in 1927. He was an employee of the Florida East Coast Railroad and went to Favoretta in 1945. He is a member of the Baptist Church and the Bunnell Masonic Lodge No. 200.

Funeral services will be held at 4:30 Friday afternoon from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell with Rev. E. W. Ware officiating. Burial will be in the Espanola Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Survivors include his wife, Ida of Favoretta; three daughters, Mrs. Jewel Clifton, Tallahassee; Mrs. Ethel Carter, Jacksonville; and Miss Nina Vinson, Favoretta; two sons, James Ottis Vinson, Montgomery, Ala., and Don Ray Vinson of Favoretta; two brothers, Jack Vinson of Dothan, Ala., and Fess Vinson of Columbia, Ala. Also surviving are six grandchildren.

Pallbearers are E. E. Altman, H. V. Peavy, J. I. Sheffield, Sr., Henry Wells, J. H. McKnight, Jr., and J. W. Medders.
