BUNNELL - Sondra D. Wall, 65, of Water Oak Road, a nurse at Putnam Correctional Center, Putnam County, died Monday at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast.

Born in Bunnell, Ms. Wall was a lifelong resident of Bunnell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. An avid reader, she also enjoyed antiquing.

Survivors include a son, Deen, a daughter, Jodee Motsinger, and a sister, Pat Cowart, all of Bunnell; and two grandchildren.

Sympathy is extended to the family of Sondra Deen Wall who passed away peacefully with family at her side on September 12th following a brief illness.  Sondra was 65 at the time of death and a lifelong resident of Flagler County.  She was the daughter of Rob Deen and Helen Cody Deen; both Flagler County pioneers.  
 
Sondra graduated from Bunnell High School in 1957 and was a registered nurse. She retired as a nurse at the prison in East Palatka in 2002. 
 
Sondra is survived by her son Deen Scott Wall, daughter Jodee Wall Motsinger (husband Guy), grandchildren Korey Motsinger and Randa Helen Motsinger, sister and best friend Pat Cowart, x-husband and wonderful friend, Charlton Wall, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to Pat, her other caregiver included Becky Harper.
 
A memorial service will be held Monday Sept 19th at the First United Methodist Church in Bunnell at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Beth Gardner officiating.

Sondra was a graduate of Bunnell High School (1957), attended the University of Florida where she pledged to Phi Mu Sorority. She also attended a business school in Miami and in Apr 1961 was working for a law firm in Miami.

She is a registered nurse and was living in the Bimini area (Water Oak) in 1997.
