BUNNELL – Lawrence W. West Sr., 51, Belle Glade, a former resident here, died Friday in Lakeland from injuries suffered when a tractor he was working on fell on him.
Mr. West was born in Olustee, raised in Bunnell and moved to Belle Glade 12 years ago.
Survivors include his widow, Susie; a daughter, Kathy Tilton; a son, Buddy; a stepson, Mike Bacon; a sister, Wanelle Hunter, all of Bunnell; and five grandchildren.
Craig, Bunnell, is in charge.
Funeral service for Lawrence W. West Sr., 51, Belle Glade, who passed away Friday, Sept. 18, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Bunnell First Baptist Church with Dr. R. Kenneth Gaskin, pastor, officiating with the Rev. Gene Reeves, pastor, Bunnell Pentecostal Holiness Church, assisting.

He is survived by his wife, Susie; one daughter, Kathy Tilton, San Mateo; one son, Lawrence West Jr., Bunnell; one stepson, Mike Bacon, West Palm Beach; one sister, Wanelle Hunter, Bunnell, and five grandchildren.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and at the church from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday. Interment will be in Espanola Cemetery.
