Waldo William West of Espanola passed away Wednesday afternoon in the Putnam Memorial Hospital in Palatka, following an illness of several weeks duration. Mr. West was Woodland Supervisor for the Owen-Illinois Company.

Mr. West was a native of Georgia and come to Flagler County 19 years ago from Lake Butler. He was 59 years of age and was a member of the Church of God of Palatka.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes West of Espanola; 1 daughter, Mrs. Wilfred Hunter, Bunnell; a son, Lawrence West, Bunnell; 2 sisters, Mrs. L. J. Mikell and Mrs. Viola Coleman, Lake City; 2 brothers, T. J. West, Cocoa, and Emery West, Jacksonville. Also surviving are three grand children, Ruth Hunter, Kathy and Buddy West, all of Bunnell.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell, Rev. J. W. Dawsey of Palatka, and Rev. L. S. Williams of Starke officiated. Interment followed at the Espanola Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Adrian Beach, Charles Blankenship, Otis Hunter, W. W. Miller, Horace Ryals, and Dave Perryman.

Honorary bearers were L. E. Wadsworth, E. B. Smoak, T. K. Mc. Knight, Charles Creal, G. B. Kelly, Earl Rice, J. L. Crews, Jim Hargett, and P. A. Edmonson.

Arrangements were under the direction of Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell.
