Born in Pawtucket, R.I., Mr. Whetsone came here 36 years ago from Cranston, R.I. He was a member of Bonnie Murray Masonic Lodge 29, Pawtucket.

Survivors include a brother, John Whetstone,, Lincoln, R.I.
