BUNNELL – Elvin E. Whitaker, 78, 105 S. Moore St., a retired factory worker from Valley Park, Mo., died at home of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Whitaker was born in Duke, Mo., and moved to Bunnell four years ago from Valley Park. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a brother, Walter, Bunnell; and three sisters – Ann Brookshire, Bakersfield, Calif., Georgia Beckett, Kansas City, Mo.

In lieu of other remembrance, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church, Dorcas Class, P.O. Box 365, Bunnell, 32010.
