T. F. Whitton died at his home in Espanola Wednesday after a long illness of several months. He had been a patient in the hospital in St. Augustine for several weeks where the best of medical attention was rendered for his recovery. His illness happened to be very chronic and the prolongation of life was all that could be expected according to physicians.

Mr. Whitton was a merchant at Espanola as well as a grower of Irish potatoes, being favorably known in the entire county. He leaves besides his many friends a wife and son who will mourn his loss with sincere grief.

Funeral services wi1l be at the home in Espanola Friday at 2:30 p.m. Service will be conducted by the Masonic Lodge of Bunnell.
