THOMAS "FRANK" WILSON

Mr. Wilson was born in Mt. Airy, NC, a son of Aldie and Brooksie Odel Pell Wilson. He was the former owner of Wilson's Topsoil. Frank was Baptist by faith. He enjoyed farming, fishing, gardening, in depth bible study, spreading the gospel and helping others.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena Jewell Cox Wilson on January 20, 1999.

Frank is survived by a daughter, Joy Harris of Bunnell; four sons, Dennis (Lonnie) Wilson of New Smyrna Beach, Gary (Dolly) Wilson of Bunnell, Ray (Theresa) Wilson of Burkesville, KY., and Scott (Linda) Wilson of Knoxville, TN.; three sisters, Helen Gentry of Ormond Beach, Jean Marshall and Ella Stropple, both of New York; one brother, R. L. Wilson of Seattle, WA; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Lee Wilson, a sister, Brooksie Lawson, and three brothers, Roger, Wayne and Herman Wilson.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South in Flagler Beach, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Espanola Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christian ministry of one’s choice or Hospice.
