Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the First Baptist Church for William T. Yates of Bunnell who died early Friday morning in the local hospital after suffering a heart attack. Rev. E. W. Ware officiated.

Mr. Yates, who was 73 years of age, was born in Canada and had lived in Flagler County for the past 15 years. He was retired.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Phettyplace, DeLeon Springs, Florida; two sons, Archie and Harold Yates of Watertown, N. Y. Also surviving are several grandchildren; and one stepson, John Goodell of Watertown.

Pallbearers were L. E. Wadsworth, Dave Perryman, G. B. Kelly, L. W. McMillan, Johnny Mercer and Billy Wadsworth.

Burial followed at the Espanola Cemetery. Craig Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge of arrangements.
