Leanne Rose Ambrose

Leanne Rose Ambrose, departed this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2011. She was the second of two children born to Charles and Clara Norford on April 23, 1940 in Harlem, N.Y.

Leanne attended school in New York, City, after graduating from High School.

Leanne went to work for the New York City Housing Authority and after 37 years, Leanne was promoted from a clerk and retired as an Executive Administrator.

In 2005, Ronald & Leanne moved to Palm Coast, Fl., she was a devoted member of the Black Catholic Guild Society at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, Palm Coast, FL.

She leaves to mourn a devoted and loving husband, Ronald Ambrose of 47 yrs., two sons; Christopher Ambrose & Ronald Jones; two daughters: Roslyn Rivers & Aliette Jones; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, former co-workers and her forever loving friends and families in Palm Coast, New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, MD and many many others.

Services : Wake Friday: 6-8 p.m., St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Saturday, viewing 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. Service hour, Father Jim May, Officiate. Interment Craig Memorial Gardens, Palm Coast, FL.
