A funeral service for Thelma D. Ambrose 94, of Palm Coast, will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 11:00AM at the First AME Church of Palm Coast. Friends may visit on Monday, May 14, from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ambrose passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at her home. She was born on March 5, 1918 in Orange, VA to the late Emmanuel and Anna Lindsay (Bryant). In her younger years she was a Nurse at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan.

In 2006 she moved to the Palm Coast area from Co-op City, Bronx, NY. Mrs. Ambrose enjoyed dancing and crocheting. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Sakina Rivers.

Survivors include her son, Ronald Ambrose of Palm Coast; loving partner Jack Fox of Palm Coast; sister, Matilda Burgess of AL; grandchildren, Roslyn M. Rivers, Christopher T. Ambrose, Alliette Jones, Bernard Jones; great-grandchildren, Tamara, Chanelle, LaShaundra, Christopher, Ciera, Beonkia, Sade, Richard, Danielle, Justin; great-great-grandchildren, Kenneth, Chyanne, Aaliyah, Anisa and Alijah.
