Obituary of Hyacinth 'Cynthia' May Angell

Hyacinth “Cynthia” May Angell, 88 of Palm Coast, Florida passed away on March 13, 2020 at AdventHealth Palm Coast. She was born on August 11, 1931 in Jamaica, West Indies to the late Thomas Carr and Inah Ogilvie.

In January of 1968 she and her husband emigrated to Queens, New York. Cynthia did clerical work at various companies in the Queens area, finally retiring from Long Island Jewish Medical Center.

In 2004, she and her husband retired and moved to the Palm Coast area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palm Coast where she coordinated the weekly flower delivery for the church services and was a member of Women on Mission at the church. Cynthia enjoyed baking especially wedding cakes and loved entertaining, especially missionaries visiting the church. She will always be remembered for her love of life. Donations in her memory may be made to The First Baptist Church of Palm Coast, Christian Academy.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Beryl, Millicent (Tiny), Verna, and brother, France.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Keith; son, Keith Jr.; sisters, Princess and Laris; brothers, Roy, Bevin, Byron, Amos, and Errol, and many more loving relatives and wonderful friends.
