HOPEWELL JUNCTION – Dominick Aragona, 85, a 25-year Hopewell Junction resident and former Mamaroneck, Westchester County, resident, died Sunday at Rosary Hill Home, Hawthorne, Westchester County.
He was a painter for Daniel Ross of Port Chester until his retirement seven years algo.
Mr. Aragona was a member of St. Columba Church, Hopewell Junction.
Born on March 29, 1909 in Argentina, he was the son of John and Josephine Aragona.
He married Elsie Anello on Oct. 15, 1933 in Mamaroneck. She survives at home.
He is survived by a daughter, Barbara Rath of Fishkill; a son, John A. of Reston, Va., sisters, Theresa Dilorio of Shrub Oak, Westchester County; Angelina Maribella of Tampa, Fla; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Columba Church, Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
Burial will follow at St Denis Cemetery, Beckman Road, Hopewell Junction.
