Marie L. Auguste, 82, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on September 21, 2017 peacefully with her family by side. She was born on May 21, 1935 in Haiti to the late Ferdinano and Delcina Dragon.
A Visitation will be held from 11:00am til 12:30pm on Saturday September 30, 2017 at Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm also on Saturday September 30, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL. Interment will follow in Craig Flagler Palms Cemetery.
Marie L. Auguste retired after 17 years as a seamstress for General Motors. She moved to this area in 2002 from Detroit, Michigan. Her passion was sewing.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Emmanuel, whom she married on August 29, 1966; her three children, Fred Auguste, Dominique Auguste and Jean (Genevieve) Auguste; three stepsons, Hansy (Barbara) Auguste, Donald Auguste, Mario (Lyncee) Auguste; a brother, Lelio Dragon; four grandchildren, Kamryn, Nadia, Jazmyn and Olivia; three step-grandchildren, Eliza, Gabby and Stephanie; and nephews, Chrispin Dragon, Ferdinand Dragon, Stephan Dragon, Gilbert Dragon and Maurice Dragon; and a niece, Dr. Elizabeth Dragon-Dormevil.
Memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
