Funeral services for Chester L. Banach 86 of Beverly Beach will be held on Thursday May 24, 2012 at 11:30 AM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Banach a resident of Beverly Beach for the past 15 years, passed away Saturday May 19, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Nanticoke PA on October 15 1925 a son of the late Edward and Jenny Maguda Banach. He was a retired machinist, a veteran of World War II serving in the US Marine Corp, a member of Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, a volunteer for Emergency Services in Flagler County and former member of the Beverly Beach Council. He enjoyed fishing and model ship building.

Surviving are his wife of 12 years Catherine, two daughters, Jayne Walther of NC, Doris Osenni of NJ, three grandchildren, Collin, Michael and T.J. one sister, Theresa Romano of NJ, and three step-daughters, Catherine Rider of NJ, Theresa Walloga of IL and Maryann Locasio of NJ.

The family suggests contributions to Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 950 N. Central Ave, Flagler Beach FL 32136. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
