FLAGLER BEACH - James P. Beary, 69, of Winthrop Lane; who worked for United States Steel Corp. before his retirement, died Friday at Florida Hospital-Flagler, Palm Coast.

Mr. Beary was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and moved here in 1989 from Tabernacle, N.J. He enjoyed music, auto racing and football.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Kathleen; a son, James Corbett, Weeki Wachee, and a daughter; Karlyn Beary, Winter Springs.
