Visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 from 4 pm until 8 pm at the Lohman Funeral Home Palm Coast, 220 Palm Coast Parkway, SW Palm Coast. A Visitation will also be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian burial.

Ramiro was born and raised in Portugal, moving to New York in 1966 where he was employed for many years as a construction worker. He had a passion for creating things, whether it was out of brick, cement or stone. Ramiro also enjoyed spending his time tending to his garden. He grew fruits, vegetables and flowers in New York, Portugal, and then here when he relocated to Palm Coast a little over three years ago.

Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 49 years Julieta seven years ago, son Mario in 2007, two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his sons Raul Beja of New York, Americo Beja (Ester) of New York, Augostino Beja (Leonore) of New York, Augusto Beja (Elisa) of Portugal; and daughter Maria Coito (Rui) of Palm Coast. Ramiro was also the loving grandfather of his eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
