Joseph Patrick Bentzley 

A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Joseph Patrick Bentzley, 78 of Palm Coast will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, with Father Christopher Knight as celebrant. Interment will follow in Flagler Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass in the memorial room of the church.  

Mr. Bentzley, a resident of Palm Coast since 1999 coming from Pennsauken, NJ passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. He was born on May 20, 1943 in Philadelphia PA a son of the late Clarence Leroy and Anna Mae Fallon Bentzley.  

A retired quality assurance specialist in the aerospace industry, Mr. Bentzley enjoyed jewelry making, sketching, gardening and fishing. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and the Astronomy Club of Palm Coast.  

Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Wendy, two sons, Joseph Bentzley Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Holmes PA, Greg Blouse and his wife Becky of Palm Coast, three daughters, Donna Korth (the late Joseph Korth) of Palm Coast, Amber Blose of Gainesville FL and Stephanie Mattera and her husband David of Palm Coast, nine grandchildren, Ryan, Aiden, Ashlynn, Jason, Connor, Chase, Greyson, Blake and Carson, three brothers, Lee Bentzley of Palm Coast, Paul Bentzley and his wife Ann of Lansdowne PA and Tom Bentzley of Deland. His brother Charles Bentzley preceded him in death.  

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
