ORMOND BEACH - Betty L. "Aunt Betty" Bistrisky, 90, who retired after 10 years as a hospital lab technician, died Sunday at Hospice Care Center, Port Orange.

Miss Bistrisky, who served in the Women's Army Corps, was born in Unionville, Mich., and moved here in 1997. She worked for 10 years at the former Saginaw General Hospital in Saginaw, Mich., and for 20 years at Bon Secours Hospital, Grosse Pointe, Mich.

She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696, Palm Coast and AARP. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and dining out.

Survivors include a niece, Cheri Reeves and a great-niece, Traci Gura, both of Ormond Beach, both of whom provided for her care.
