She passed away peacefully at Florida Hospital Flagler, Monday, May 5, 2014. Mom was born on Staten Island, NY on December 1, 1924 to William and Mary Sullivan.

She was educated at St. Sylvester's Parochial School and graduated from New Dorp H.S. She attended Staten Island Community College for classes in applied mathematics and governmental accounting for a short period of time.

Mom had married our Dad, George, the love of her life, shortly after graduation. She was employed by the Electro Dynamic Company in Bayonne, NJ and worked on parts for submarine engines during World War II, was a Research Reader for a Bay Street firm, and a Crossing Guard for the Blessed Sacrament and PS19 school children. Mom was also employed by the State of New York in various positions, starting as a Clerk at the Willowbrook State School administration office and retiring from Manhattan Developmental Center in New York City as a Principal Accountant.

After retirement, Mom worked as a Reading Volunteer at PS19 on Staten Island. She moved to Florida in 1990 and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She was a member of the art guild and worked with the arts and crafts group. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW. Mom enjoyed bowling and gardening in her younger years and crocheting and reading in her later ones.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, George, her precious son, George Jr., brothers, Anton and John L. Sullivan and her sister Mary Logomarsino.

She is survived by three daughters, Lois Anne Kirchner of Denton, Maryland, Renee Francois Stapel-kamp of Staten Island, NY and Michele Elizabeth Kahaly and husband Thomas of Lake Hopatcong, NJ, daughter- in-law Lorraine Blois of Colorado Springs, CO, sister, Margaret Mc Duffy of Orange, NJ; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00AM, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2-4PM and 6-8PM on Friday, May 9, 2014 at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Flagler Beach, FL and also on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:30AM before Mass at the Memorial at church. Entombment will be held at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens next to her Beloved George. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her so deeply.
