A Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Patricia G. Boczon, 66, of Palm Coast will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N. Central Ave, Flagler Beach. Interment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road, S. Flagler Beach.

Mrs. Boczon passed away on Sunday February 26, 2012 in the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast FL. She was born on December 20, 1945 in Olney MD a daughter of the late George and Lorena Vetter Gloyd. Also preceding her in death was her step-mother Mildred (Millie) Harding Gloyd.

In 1985, the family moved to the Florida Keys where she and her husband Jacob Boczon, Jr. worked for “The Wicker Web” before she purchased her own shoe boutique called the “The Pedestal”. After selling the store she worked as an Assistant Manager of a clothing store named “Anthony’s” where she loved her job. Though the years, they moved to Pembroke Pines where they owned the “S and S Bagel Deli” and then subsequently to Boone NC where she and her husband owned the “Mile High Sub Company. She fell in love with Palm Coast and moved here in 2010.

On June 2, 1969 she married Jacob Boczon Jr. and they shared over 42 wonderful years together. She was blessed with a son, Scott Boczon, of Davie FL, a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Robinson of Flat Rock NC, eight wonderful grandchildren, Michael, Gaby, Keri, Katie, Kristin, Justin, Matthew and Kaylee. They truly were the loves of her life. She was also blessed with two wonderful sisters and brother-in-laws, Diane and Lee Spence of Frederica DE, and Kay and Carlton Gloyd of St. Michaels MD.

Following the Funeral Mass and Burial the family will gather at Father O’Flaherty Hall at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church for a time of fellowship.
