DEATH TAKES FRED S. BOOE WEDNESDAY

Fred S. Booe, 66, died at 6:15 Wednesday evening at the family home on Moody Boulevard, after an illness of several months.

Mr. Booe was a native of Veedersburg, Ind., but was a resident of Flagler County since 1917. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Z. E. Booe of Bunnell.

Mr. Booe was a painter by trade, but at one time was staff cartoonist for an Indiana newspaper. During his life here he enlivened many local political campaigns with humorous cartoons of the principals, giving the sketches to his many friends.

He is survived by one brother, William Booe of Bunnell; two nieces, Mrs. Margaret Deen of Ormond and Miss Betty Jean Booe, San Diego, Calif.; two nephews, Richard of New York; and James Jr., of San Diego, Calif. two aunts, Mrs. W. G. Boyd of Indianapolis, Ind.: and Mrs. Margaret May of Veedersburg, Ind.; one uncle Guy Coffing, of Fair Oaks, Calif.

Tentative funeral arrangement is 2 P. M. Saturday at graveside in Hope Cemetery, pending possible arrival of, relatives.
