PALM COAST -- Harold Borish, 79, of Beechwood Lane, a retired store owner, died Wednesday at Memorial Hospital-Flagler, Bunnell.

Mr. Borish was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came here 19 years ago from Stoney Point, N.Y. An Army veteran of World War II, he received the Bronze Star and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8696 and the Jewish War Veterans.

He was also a member of Temple Beth Shalom, the Palm Harbor Country Club and the Belle Terre Swim and Racquet Club. He enjoyed traveling, reading and music. 

Survivors include his wife, Blanche.
