Funeral Services for Elder Joseph Alexander Brown 86 of Palm Coast will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 AM in the Apostolic Church of God, 500 N. Pine Street, Bunnell FL.   Burial will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.  

Friends may visit on Friday, May 20 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach.

Rev. Brown, a resident since 1991 coming from Bronx NY, passed away, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Hanson Tender Care Home, Palm Coast.   He was born on January 6, 1930 in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica the son of the late Ishmael and Hilda Brotherton Brown.

He was a minister in the Apostolic Church of God in Jamaica, England, and Florida and enjoyed painting.  

Surviving is his wife Essylin (Ellis) whom he married in 1963, a daughter, Jacqueline Brown of Palm Coast, four sisters, Myrtle Smith and Leath Atkins both of Jamaica, Violet Wilmot of Palm Coast and Gwendolyn Thomas of England, one brother, Isaac Brown of Jamaica and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved him dearly.  

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
