CRAIG-FLAGLER PALMS FUNERAL HOME
Flagler Beach, Florida
June 4, 2012
The world is little less sweet today…Frances Dean Bythwood, 81, of Palm Coast, FL, departed from this earth on June 1, 2012.
To know her was to love her, and in her lifetime she touched the lives of many through her kindness, charisma, generosity, and amazingly giving spirit.
Born October 26, 1930, Fran went by many names, including daughter, sister, doting mom, friend, Sergeant, wife, and cherished Nana. Much of her life was spent living and working in New York City before she retired with her husband to Florida in 1992. Always a survivor, she overcame her short battle with breast cancer in 2000 and lived the remainder of her days as a dutiful wife and dedicated caregiver to her husband, Nick. The beauty of her visage was exceeded only by the beauty of her character. Her strength, wisdom, laughter, and goodwill will long be remembered.
Fran is survived by her loving husband, Emery “Nick” Bythwood, her daughter Donna Adams, son-in-law Randolph Adams, and her beloved grandchildren, Danielle and Randolph Adams II.
Special thanks and acknowledgement to Patricia and Aaron Bythwood, and Delcena Samuels; caregivers Jennifer and Bernice.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012,12:00PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd S. Friends may visit on Thursday from 11:00AM until time of the service.
