Matthew David Cadenhead, 23, Palm Coast, went home to his Lord and Savior on March 4, 2009. He was born in Sylacauga, Ala., and had resided in Palm Coast since 2005, moving from Alabama.

He also previously resided in Pembroke Pines from 1989 to 2003, where he graduated from Charles Flanagan High School. He was a member of Lighthouse Church of God where he was very active in the youth ministry.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday March 7, 2009 at Lighthouse Church of God, 1230 Kings Estate Road, with Bishop LaVoy Newton, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Craig Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday March 6, 2009, at Lighthouse Church of God.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Connie Cadenhead, Palm Coast; brother, Chris Cadenhead (Jeana), Pembroke Pines; two sisters, Beth Ramirez (Max), Virginia Beach, Va., Megan Cadenhead, Palm Coast; Paternal grandparents, Janelle Cadenhead, Palm Coast, Robert Cadenhead, Clinton, Tenn.; maternal grandmother, Virginia Ogle, Childensburg, Ala.; niece, Layla Ramirez; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives.

St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
