A funeral service for Rose Capek 95 of Palm Coast will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, 2:00PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 1:00PM until service time at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Rose passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Flagler Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on May 12, 1917 in Little Ferry, NJ to the late Anton and Anna Cudlin. In 1987 she moved to the Palm Coast area from Little Ferry, NJ. Her memberships included the Sokol Little Ferry Gymnastic Organization in which she was a 75 year member. Rose enjoyed card games and reading but her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her beloved family.

She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Rose will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Capek in 1996.

Survivors include her children, Frank and his wife Barbara Capek of Palm Coast, Thomas and his wife Cheryl Capek of Apple Creek, OH, Kenneth and his wife Marilyn Capek of Hackensack, NJ; daughter, Christine and her husband Kenneth Connors of Palm Coast; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Donations in her memory may be made to Florida Hospital Hospice Care.

Services are in the care and trust of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
