DELAND - Amanda Michele Carr, 22, of Hartford Drive, died Oct. 13, 2002, at her home. 

Miss Carr was a student. Born in Daytona Beach, she was a lifelong resident of Volusia County. 

She was a member of Praise Chapel in DeLand. Her interests were cooking, family and her church. 

Miss Carr is survived by her mother, Susan Evans of DeLand; her father, Gordon Carr of Calais, Maine; her maternal grandmother, Shirley Peavy of Palm Coast; her paternal grandmother, Muriel Carr of St. Stephens, New Brunswick, Canada; three brothers, Kevin Evans of DeLand, Duane Taylor of Palm Coast and David Carr of Edgewater; and a sister, Tracy Carr of Calais.
