Jacques E. Castan
Jacques E. Castan, 50, of Palm Coast, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Florida Hospital Flagler. Jacques was born October 1, 1959 in Haiti.
Jacques moved to Palm Coast from Queens, NY in 2004, he worked at Wyndham Resorts, Daytona Beach Shores as an inventory clerk. He enjoyed gardening, decorating, cooking, painting, artwork, ran track and was once an olympic hopeful. He was an extremely kind person who was willing to help anyone in need.
Jacques is survived by sisters, Fleurette Francois of Port-Au- Prince, Haiti, Marie Lucy Mondesir of Davie, FL, Alise Castan Riche of Palm Coast, FL; brothers, Serge Castan of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and Eddy Sejour Castan of Cap-Haitien, Haiti; aunts and uncles, Agnes Castan White of Hollywood, CA, Antoinette Jean Pierre of Cap-Haitien, Haiti, Mr. and Mrs. Lavanda Castan of Rialto, CA, Mr. and Mrs. Mathieu St. Surin and family of Brooklyn, NY; nieces and nephews, Dr. Willise Riche, Jack Anthony Riche and family, Jean Claude Mondesir, Winchel Castan and family, Morois Francois and family, Monique Deujuste, Filbert Francois and family, Mr. and Mrs. Pierre LaCroix and family, Fresnel Francois and family, Telson Francois, Bosuet Francois, Giordany Francois and family, Fracieuse Francois, Kimmy Castan, Michel Castan, Rodney Castan and family of Montreal, Canada, Raoul Castan of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti and Martinson Castan of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
A funeral mass will be held, Saturday, December 26, 2009, 11:00A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Friends may visit Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 9:00AM-11:00AM in the memorial room at church. Entombment will follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers family requests donations to the American Lung Association.
