Francesco “Frankie” L. Celico, 33, of Palm Coast, passed away suddenly on September 9, 2011 at Florida Hospital Flagler. Frankie was born January 9, 1978 in Bellville, NJ.

Frankie joined the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in 2000, rising to the rank of Sargent in the Road Patrol. Sgt. Celico was the Supervisor in charge of the Bike Patrol for the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and was involved in teaching bike safety to children of the community. He spent time working at his family’s auto body business Celico Auto Body in Bunnell, Fla. Frankie was an avid car enthusiast and collector, owning a 1975 Corvette and just purchasing a Harley, he also enjoyed detailing his cars and spending time with his nephews and niece. Frankie is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast.

Frankie is survived by his parents, Finita and Carlo Celico of Palm Coast, FL; brother, Carmine (Katie) Celico of palm Coast, FL; paternal grandmother, Maria Celico of Palm Coast, FL; maternal grandparents, Concetta and Francesco Turano of New Jersey; nieces and nephews, Carmine, Jr., Joey and Mia Celico; along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Friends may call Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 2:00PM-8:00PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. South, Flagler Beach, FL. A funeral mass will be held on 11:00AM Thursday, September 14, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, FL. Interment to follow at Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens.
