PALM COAST - George E. Chuddy, 85, of Clark Lane, who retired in 1930 as a supervisor of transportation for North East Utilities in Glenbrook, Conn, died Tuesday at home.

Mr. Chuddy, a Navy veteran of World War II, was born in Stamford, Conn., and came to this area in 1980 from Darien, Conn. He attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Helene; two sons, George Jr., Palm Coast, and Paul, Newtown, Conn.; a daugh­ter, Beverly Kaminsky, Ridgefield, Conn.; two sisters, Josephine Mitchell, Darien, and Helen Pataky, Boca Raton; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
