BEVERLY BEACH -- Irene L. Clark, 90, of Merrimac Drive, a retired cottage parent for delinquent boys for the state of Michigan, died Friday at home. 

Mrs. Clark was born in Vestaburg, Mich. In 1974, she came here from Michigan and, with her husband, bought the first Surfside Estates lot. She was a member of the Flagler Beach Women's Club, where she played bridge. She also enjoyed reading. 

Survivors include a son, Duane Wells, Lansing, Mich.; a stepson, the Rev. Raymond Clark, Lookout Mountain, Tenn.; a daughter, Yvonne "Bonnie" Ventsias, Okemos, Mich.; a sister, Peggie Courser, Flagler Beach; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
