A veteran of World War II, Arnold was a member of the Marine Corps League of Flagler County, Detachment 876, the VFW and the Jewish War Veterans. He was a gifted award winning artist, whose painting of Thurman Munson graced the Office of the Baseball Commissioner for many years. His sense of humor as well as his compassion made him a natural in the hospitality industry that he worked in for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife Ruth; daughters Amy and Shelly; and grandchildren Barry and Morgan.
The family requests that donations be made in his memory to Hospice of Volusia/ Flagler Counties
