Mary Jane Collett

Mike Saunders and Rev. Ron Moore officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Entombment will follow in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Collett passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2009 in the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House.

She was born in Valeen, Indiana, May 22, 1927 a daughter of the late John A. and Verna Hollen Sillings. She moved to Flagler Beach with her husband, Robert in 1983 from Westland, MI and then to Palm Coast in 2004. Mrs. Collett was a retired accountant for Ford Motor Company, and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell where she served on several committees. She and her husband enjoyed traveling in their motor home and she enjoyed working in her rose garden.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert in 1995. Surviving are a daughter, Jayne Morgan of Billerica, MA; a son, Joseph A. Breech and his wife, Kyle, Traverse City, MI; a sister, Ida Short, Indianapolis, IN; a daughter-in-law, Virginia Hunter, Troy, MI; and two grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mary Jane Collett are suggested to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House or the Building Fund of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
