Julia Catherine Conway, 75, Palm Coast, died June 4, 2001, at her home. She was born in St. Augustine, and she had worked at both the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind and the former St. Augustine General Hospital, retiring from the latter. She was a member of St. Paul AME Church. 

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul AME Church, with the Rev. Oliver Simmons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Flagler Palms Memorial Gardens, Palm Coast. Friends may call at the chapel of Chase and Son Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, and at the church from noon Saturday until the hour of services. 

Survivors include her husband, George Conway Sr., Palm Coast; three sons, Purcell and George Conway Jr., both of Palm Coast, Jerome Conway, St. Augustine; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.
