Frank Cooper, 74, and a resident of Bunnell for about 25 years was found dead in bed last Sunday afternoon by M. B. Butler, a neighbor. Authorities estimated that he had been dead about 12 hours.
Mr. Butler who sometimes employed Mr. Cooper on odd jobs, usually went to Cooper's home to see about him if he did not appear outside sometime during the day, and went over Sunday afternoon about 2 o'clock and discovered the death. An inquest was held.
Mr. Cooper was buried Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Hope Cemetery with Rev. W. K. McClure, pastor of the local Baptist Church, officiating. Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cooper's father died here about 15 years ago and so far as is known, the son has no surviving relatives.
