Lynn Marie “Pooh” Criss, 42 passed to the Heavenly side of life on January 23, 2011 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast. Lynn was born in Daytona Beach on Sept. 18, 1968 to Jeanne (Widdis) and Louis Criss, Jr.

She attended local schools and graduated from Spruce Creek High School. She was an avid Winnie The Pooh Collector, hence her nickname. Lynn was employed for the last 7 years at Florida Health Care, Palm Coast as a Pharmacy Tech. They have been very generous to her during her illness and the family greatly appreciates all they have done.

Lynn is predeceased by her father, Louis D. Criss, Jr. paternal grandparents Bernice and Louis Criss, Sr, maternal grandfather Foxy Rhodes, and her stepfather Robert Widdis.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories her mother, Jeanne Widdis of Flagler Beach, the love of her life for 15 years Roger Dykstra “Kritter” of Palm Coast, her sister, Kim Burton of Palm Coast, grandmother Ruth Rhodes of Daytona Beach, aunts Connie Rhodes of Daytona Beach, Kathy Lee of East Ridge, TN, nieces, Christy Jacques her husband Nathan of Palm Coast, Misty Burton (Evan Konitzer) of Port Orange, great-niece Michelle Jacques of Palm Coast, great-nephew Caleb Jacques of Palm Coast, step-mother Ginger Criss of Port Orange, many loving friends co-workers and cousins, her new puppy Scruffy.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House and Dr. Phillip Ndum for their loving care.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6:30PM to 8:00PM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home 511 Old Kings Rd. S. Flagler Beach. Immediately following the gathering the family would like to invite friends and family to Bulow Plantation Club House until 9:00PM.

Donations may be made in Lynn’s name to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House 150 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
