NAPLES - Dorothy Katherine Calvert Crowding, 89, of Naples, a resident of Palm Coast from 1978 to 1992, died Jan. 11 at Naples Harborside Healthcare. 

Mrs. Crowding, a homemaker, moved to Palm Coast from her native Baltimore. She was a member of St. Mark By The Sea Lutheran Church, Palm Coast, where she served in the Handbell Choir and Lutheran Christian Women. 

Survivors include a son, Edward III, Williamsburg, Va.; a daughter, Jean Cele, Monticello; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
