A funeral mass for Vito Cutruzzola 84, of Palm Coast, will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 11:00AM at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church in Flagler Beach.
Vito passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1927 in Italy to the late Francesco and Megalini Cutruzzola (Fausta).
After his retirement as a furniture craftsman he and his wife moved to the Palm Coast area from Queens, NY. 20 years ago. They spent the first 10 years as snowbirds before finally settling in Palm Coast. Vito was a member of the National Riffle Association and enjoyed target practice. He also enjoyed collecting all kinds of things such as coins, stamps and figurines. He will always be remembered for his ability to make people laugh. Vito will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife Louise Cutruzzola in 2008.
Survivors include his daughter Michelle and her husband Robert Longo of Glen Cove, NY; son, Frank and his wife Lisa of Palm Coast; 5 grandchildren Robert Longo, April-Rose Russo, Michael Longo, Michael Cutruzzola, Tiffany Hodge; 6 great-grandchildren, Christopher Longo, Stefan Longo, Adriana Russo, Rosario Russo, Connor Longo, Susana Louise Longo.
