Funeral Service celebrating the life of Almerinda DaCosta 89 of Palm Coast will be held on Tuesday, March 21 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach with Pastor Alex Vaz officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the services. Burial will follow in Craig-Flagler Palms Cemetery.

Mrs. DaCosta, a resident of Palm Coast since 2003 coming from New Bedford MA passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born in Salga Portugal on June 29, 1927 a daughter of the late Antonio Jacinto DaCosta and Maria Isabel Medeiros.

She was a member of the Portugese 7th Day Adventist Church and enjoyed cooking, working with flowers, and was an excellent seamstress.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, George Costa and Edvino Costa.

Surviving are her loving husband of 67 years Jose Jacinto Costa, three daughters, Olga Pacheco, Deborah Borges both of Palm Coast and Alice Carvalho, North Dartmouth MA, two sons, Paul DaCosta of Palm Coast and Tercio DaCosta of New Bedford MA, nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one niece and one nephew.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
