Mr. Seymour "Sy" P. Davis, 80, of Palm Coast, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2008.

A Funeral Service celebrating the wonderful life of Seymour P. "Sy" Davis, 80, of Palm Coast will take place Wednesday, October 15, 2008, 10:30AM, at the chapel of CraigFlagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, FL. Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time.
Sy passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at Florida Hospital Flagler. He was born December 22, 1927 in New York, NY to the late Joseph and Jenny Davis (Rosenthal).
As a young man he served his country by enlisting in the Army during WWII and serving in the Army of the Occupation. He traveled the world as a clothing sales executive who served scores of retailers, large and small. After retiring, he and his wife spent winters in their home in Palm Coast before moving down permanently in 2000 from Baldwin, NY.
Sy was a member of the Flagler Stamp and Coin Club. His hobbies included fishing, collecting stamps, watching hockey (especially his New York Islanders), and listening to different types of music including folk, Jewish, classical and jazz.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley; son, Jody Davis of Palm Coast; brother, Harry Davis of Monroe Township, NJ; and sister, Ann Novak of Boca Raton, FL.
Memorial Contributions in his name may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
