Funeral service for Doris DeBellotte, 80, Blaketown Place, Palm Coast, who passed away Friday, May 12, 2006, at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S., Flagler Beach. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, May 16, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 p.m until service time in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.

Doris was born November 4, 1925, in New York, N.Y., to the late Grove and Emily (Charles) Edmund.

She worked as a nurse's aide at Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn, N.Y., for 30+ years before her retirement. Doris moved to Palm Coast in 1982 from Brooklyn. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast, and she enjoyed shopping, traveling and reading.

Doris is survived by her three daughters, Yvette DeBellotte- Sinclair, San Marcos, Calif., Yvonne DeBellotte, Atlanta, Ga., and Pam DeBellotte, Amsterdam, N.Y.; additional survivors include her sister, Eileen Cummings, Tampa; three grandchildren, Margaret DeBellotte-Torres, Armando Sinclair and Zain Sinclair; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas DeBellotte and Nigil Torres.
